The Romilly's Foundation is a charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales, registration no. 1082605. It was set up in 2001 following Romilly's death at the age of 14. Its mission, together with Romilly's Association in France, is to relief the suffering of children in distress in Africa.
Our emphasis is on helping children out of the brutality and waste of life on the street.
We identify local people with a plan who have the integrity though not the money to carry it out. Often by making an initial donation we have been able to encourage others to invest
The Foundation currently supports three projects, The Naivasha Children's Shelter in Kenya and the Kawaza Primary School in Zambia and our latest project Romilly's Shelter at Kitwe. We have taken a forth project in Tanzania. Read more about our new Tanzanian partner in the Winter Newsletter.
